Photography Exhibition (Inis Oírr)
Multi-award winning photographer Michael O’Flanagan first visited Inis Oírr (the smallest of the Aran Islands) in 1969 and since then he has been coming and going to the Aran Islands numerous times each year for both long and short-term stays. He has been photographing the changing face of Inis Oírr since 1971.
"Ag Teacht is Ag Imeacht" (Coming and Going) is a solo, permanent exhibition by Michael O'Flanagan of 75 photographic images at Áras Éanna (Inis Oírr's Arts Centre), which documents aspects of Inis Oírr, the island's modernisation and its people from the early 1970s through to 2013.
